JAMES FILLINGAME
Board Chairman
James Fillingame received God’s call to vocational ministry while at the University of North Texas. He and his wife René married during the summer of 1983 and graduated from college the following year. In 1986 after René received her master’s degree in Speech Pathology and they were expecting their first child, they joined the staff of Family Life ministry, a division of Cru (formerly Campus Crusade for Christ). They enjoyed their 4 years with Family Life helping to strengthen marriages through conferences and small group studies. In order to receive additional education and training, James and René moved to Arizona where James received a Master of Divinity degree from Phoenix Seminary. Upon graduation God directed James to become the senior pastor of Stone Creek Church. He served there for 13 years. Since leaving in 2008, James has consulted/coached faith-based nonprofits, served with Standing Stone Ministry as a retreat shepherd with his wife, and together, he and René began “tent-making” as flight attendants with Southwest Airlines.
James and René are passionate about coming alongside ministry couples. They know the highs and lows of ministry life since they have spent over 30 years in church and parachurch organizations. They understand the expectations that are put on the ministry couple and their family and they know firsthand the pressures on a couple raising a family while serving the body of Christ. They serve at Standing Stone Ministry as National Retreat Directors.
James has been married to René for 36 years. God has blessed them with two sons and two daughters, all of which are married. They have six grandchildren.
DAVE MEYERS

Dave is a visionary leader who simply loves God and loves people. His first international experience began on the banks of the Amazon river when he was in college. He is a graduate of Fuller Theological Seminary with a Masters in Global Leadership. Over the past 40 years, God has guided him and his wife Carolyn to remote villages and among people in more than 100 countries. These global journeys shaped his lifelong mission: ensuring every child and family, especially those in unreached areas including those living with disabilities, can thrive within a healthy local church.
Despite traveling the world, Dave remains a proud Midwesterner at heart. He is an unyielding fan of Chicago sports and always ready for good barbecue. More than anything, Dave treasures time with his wife Carolyn and family. He and his wife also serve at a vibrant local church - Scottsdale Bible, where his wife leads the special needs ministries across 5 campuses. They live in Phoenix, Arizona, where they love life with their three adult children and four grandchildren.
MIKE JONES

Mike Jones was born in Southern West Virginia and educated at Biola University in Southern California. He received seminary training at Western Seminary in Portland. He has been the Pastor of a church in Port Angeles, Washington for the past 43 years; 40 years as Lead Pastor and as Pastor Emeritus the last 4 years.
He has been used of God to teach The Word and train up leaders in over 20 different countries. He also had the privilege to serve on several international boards.
ANNA SOSA

Anna went on her first mission trip to Mexico in the mid-'80s, unsure what a mission trip was. As she experienced the trip, she had never been as alive as she was there. Anna returned to the USA, said goodbye to her IBM position, and went on full-time staff with Young Life for seventeen years.
Then five years with World Vision and presently with the Phoenix Rescue Mission for 8 1/2 years. Anna has dedicated her life to ministry.
TOM LOTZ

Born and raised on the Amazon River in Brazil as the son of missionaries, Tom Lotz developed a lifelong heart for global ministry. He is passionate about seeing lives transformed by the power of the Gospel, especially through children and youth, and champions discipleship that reaches all generations. A founding member and current Board of Directors Member of ZimZam Global, Tom rejoices in how God continues to use the ministry to build His Church around the world.
Tom attended Bible School in Wisconsin and graduated from Seattle Pacific University, where he met his wife, Sue. For 20 years, they served as missionaries in Brazil and Missouri before Tom became Associate Pastor at Independent Bible Church in Port Angeles, Washington, in 2015. His primary responsibilities include Missions, Children’s Ministry, and Life Groups. Over the years, he has also served as a classroom teacher, school principal, volleyball coach, and missionary training center director.
A favorite verse of Tom’s is Romans 12:1, inspiring what he calls the “Holy Ghost Train Ride”—a life fully surrendered to God’s call. Tom and Sue have served side by side in ministry since their marriage in 1986. Their daughter, Kristie, continues the family’s mission legacy as a teacher on mission in Memphis, Tennessee. And yes, they’re proud Seahawks fans!
AARON MCLAUGHLIN

Aaron McLaughlin is passionate about helping people grow in their faith and steward the resources God has entrusted to them. After encountering Jesus in his early twenties, Aaron fully committed his life to Christ and was baptized in 2010 at Mariners Church in Southern California.
Aaron and his wife, Lauren, have been married for 18 years and are the proud parents of three sons: Jackson, William, and Benjamin. Since relocating to Scottsdale in 2017, they have been actively involved at Scottsdale Bible Church, where Aaron has served in youth ministry, men's and marriage ministries, small group leadership, and currently serves on the church's Risk Council.
Professionally, Aaron has served in the financial industry since 2009 and recently celebrated 15 years with Seamount Financial Group. As a Partner and Certified Financial Planner™, he provides comprehensive wealth management and financial planning services to individuals and families, helping them steward their finances with wisdom and purpose.
Aaron is grateful for every opportunity to use his gifts and experience to serve God's Kingdom and help advance the mission of reaching children and families with the hope of Jesus Christ.
